Great Falls Recycling services: 

Auto Zone: 3300 10th Ave. S., oil, transmission fluid, power steering fluid and gear oil, 406-268-9388.

Batteries and Bulbs: 900 10th Ave. S., used/old batteries for a variety of items including cars, cordless phones, tools, two-way radios, cellphones and laptops, and CFL bulbs, 406-761-1238.

City of Great Falls Sanitation: 1025 25th Ave. N.E., corrugated cardboard only, provided weekly for commercial customers for $15 fee per month, 406-771-1401.

Filipowicz Brothers Salvage: 3120 Rainbow Dam Road, all metals, no batteries, plastic, glass, cardboard or paper, 406-727-0535.

Montana Waste Systems: 3201 15th St. N.E., curbside recycling picked up two times a month for their residential customers within the city limits, cans, (aluminum/tin), corrugated cardboard, newsprint, magazines and junk mail. No plastic or glass. Additional $2 per month (in addition to residential sanitation fees), 406-761-2545.

Oily Waste: 172 N. Manchester Road, oil, transmission fluid, power steering fluid and gear oil. No charge. Call ahead, 406-761-4503.

Pacific Steel and Recycling: 1624 12th Ave. N., scrap steel, stainless steel, magnesium, titanium, nickel, alloys, lead, batteries, aluminum, aluminum cans, copper, insulated copper, brass, scrap cast iron, radiators, corrugated cardboard, newspaper, office paper, magazines, deer and elk hides (seasonal), cattle hides and deer/elk antlers. Some appliances are also accepted including: washers, dryers, refrigerators (if the Freon is evacuated properly by a certified tech) and ovens. Pacific accepts electronic scrap (there is a fee charged for CRTs and flat screens). They are accepting household plastic bottles, jars, jugs. Containers need to be rinsed out and put in the drop-off point inside their yard. 406-791-8550

Steel Etc.: 1408 52nd St. N., copper, aluminum, brass, lead, lead acid batteries, aluminum cans, tin, appliances, radiators, vehicles, iron, stainless steel, insulated copper wire. If it is made of metal, Steel Etc. will buy it. Refrigerators and freezers with Freon removed (Freon removal cost is $30). Steel Etc. is also accepting corrugated cardboard, newspaper, paper, magazines and plastics. Plastics need to be rinsed out. 406-761-4848
